Poet's and Writer's "Smart Approach to Contest Submissions"

Every now and then, a writer or editor or judge will post something about writing contests or share some advice.  I try to gather as much of those tidbits as I can, in addition to writing some of my own articles.

Poet's and Writer's is most recent addition to this list.  Their focus is on already completed works, not works created just for a competition.  However, some of the recommendations still apply (know the judge, edit, follow instructions, etc.).
